Wearing My husbands Clothes

Hi Guys!

How are you all doing? I got very delayed in putting up this post due to some reason.

This time I challenged my styling skills to the ultimate test by wearing my husband’s clothes for a WEEK. My husband has very good taste and he is a shopaholic like me 😛

So here are few ways I have styled his clothes, let me know which one is your favorite

1.Wearing his shirt over my strappy dress

I was not all planning this look but somehow i found this hanging and thought of giving it a try. Added a golden belt to give it some shape. This turned out to be my favorite look.

2. Wearing his oversize shirt over my black dress –

This is one of my go to look for shopping. There are few dresses which you cannot wear on normal basis(being OTT) So just throw a loose shirt or Tshirt like this. You can also tie a knot at sides.

3. Wearing his denim shirt with bralette –

Isn’t this looks promising?:) I love all his denim shirts. I have worn it so many times, in so many ways. Never got perfect denim shirt for myself and don’t want to spend 3k on denim jackets. Here is my version of denim jacket 🙂

4. Wearing his pants for semi formal look-

I don’t know how but his 2-3 pants fit me very nicely. There is no compulsion of wearing formals in my office so I have stopped buying pants. This is my favorite blue color and thought of wearing it with my semi formal shirt and laptop bag.  Nobody noticed unusual in my outfit that day 🙂

5. Wearing his formal shirt with my pencil skirt –

I didn’t plan this outfit as well but somehow this shirt attracted that retro look so I wore it with pencil skirt, long retro earrings and formal shoes. Wore this for a party and everybody loved it 🙂

6. Why to buy Boyfriend jeans when you can actually take his?

Obviously you cannot wear all his jeans. Give it a shoot, try few; I am sure you are going to find something for yourself.  The perk of having these man pants is that the pockets are really big. Paired it very feminine frilly sleeves top. I love all black outfit 🙂

7. Wearing his ganji over a dress

I loved this ganji but couldn’t wear it due to very low neckline. So I found this a perfect way to wear it 😉

I have lot of ideas in my mind and will come up with more outfits. Do share your feedback.

Have a nice day!

Quirky Summer dresses – Part 2

Hi Guys!!

I have received lot of compliment on my last outfit on Instagram. I usually don’t edit my pictures, firstly I don’t have that much time, secondly i don’t even know how to do it. All these tricks are done by MR husband. Coming on to today’s post, I am covering few more breathable looks created in cotton dresses.

All theses looks are simple yet head turner. Everybody was looking at me when I wore this red dress. You can accessorize these outfit with long earrings, tan bag and shoes. These prints speak for itself, you don’t need anything.

Summer dresses – Part 1

Hello Girls!!

Temperature is slightly rising in Pune and will increase after February. As I am a full time IT professional, i have to be in office for approx 9 hours. So for me comfort is above any fashion. I try to find the most lightweight and airy fabrics for my summer outfits. Recently a Ahmedabad based brand approached me for collaboration of their clothing line. They just wanted me to model for their clothes and didn’t ask me to review them but seriously on receiving these items, it blew my mind!

I cannot wear synthetic in summers, they not only causes discomfort but may even result to health issues like allergies and skin diseases.

I think it’s the right time I should share the best summer fabrics with you. Believe me, the right fabrics can make all the difference in the world! Cotton and linen are my favorite for summers.

While buying summer dresses you might want to be on the lookout for fabrics that will not only keep you cool, but provide comfort as well.  That’s my idea of being chill and comfy chic!

You can wear these items together or separately. I created 4 looks with this outfit.

H&M winter haul Jan 2018

Hello Beauties,
Who all love winters? Some people love them, and some people hate them, but you can’t ignore the chill, cozy weather and hot coffee routines. I haven’t shopped much for winters since 2-3 years asI have shifted to Pune. This time I was traveling to Delhi in Jan month so bought 2 pieces from Pune H&m. Collection was okaish here not that great.
I visited SelectCity walk the other day and just casually went inside H&M. Thankfully I was slightly luckier today.
I was not planning to buy much stuff but got 6 sweaters, 1 Blazer, 1 Hoodie 🙂 Mostly all sweaters were for Rs500-600; aint that a good deal 🙂
Request you to ignore the quality of pictures, most of the pictures were crashed and did re-shoot on the day of flight.
Here are the items I picked up:

That brings me to the end of my haul and so far so good H&M, round of applause!

4 looks to convince you to wear PJs in public

Hi Guys,

Today I will be showing you few ways to take sleepwear trend out of bed and onto the streets. We have seen so many nightwear style outfits available  at H&M, Forever21 and zara, so I thought why not wear my own PJs instead of buying new one.

But while pajama dressing is trendy, it may not surprise you that it’s not as simple as leaving the house in the same outfit you slept in. Even my family members didn’t like when I showed my ideas to them but that is the plus point for me. I always believe that whenever my family gives NO for any outfit, that always become a HIT.

Obviously we cannot go for any PJs as outfit, we need to consider Style, fit and fabric when deciding how to wear pajama pants. You want the look to be flattering and not like sleep potato.

Lets see how I have styled my actual night suit into 4 outwear outfits

Look 1 – I opted for a casual look with this shirt by pairing it with black box pleated skirt and sneakers. Yes, the shirt gives you the feel that you are at some beach location but how does it matter. I totally love wearing it.

Look 2 – I will admit this trend is quite tricky to style and probably isn’t for everyone. It might even be easier in cold weather when you can sport silky pieces. I have worn with high boots and unstructured blazer.

Look 3 – I have gone all formal for this look. Wearing same shirt with black(Alok’s) trouser. Sleek hair and minimal makeup. Seriously we can totally call this a formal look.

Look 4 – Who doesn’t want to wear pajamas all day?! The trick to keeping the look day-time appropriate is to add a belt, or in my case, a blazer. So I opted for a more sassy look with these pants by pairing them with high heels.

This post was not in my mind but thought of doing it at last moment. I always felt bad that my beautiful PJs are lying in almirah for so long. Do try these looks and share your thoughts.

I still cant use public toilets at malls or crowded places but at least I can use these sanitiser at offices or home where we have better gentry.

Pee safe Toilet Seat Sanitizer is a spray bottle and can be carried everywhere. This is savior for pregnant women who cant do squatting and have to use public toilette. I have been using the product since a week in my office. I am not sure how long it will last, i will update this info after finishing it.

Floral Shenanigns – Look2

Hi Guys!!

Hope you liked my first look where I have paired plain skirt with heavy embellishment blouse!! That was a super affordable yet trendy look. Today I am going to talk about going little edgy with floral skirt!! All of us must be bored with same heavy skirts and dupatta look for marriages or functions.

This particular piece was love at first sight, I was like I want to wear this outfit. Skirt was the main thing that caught my attention; The fabric, flare, print and summer friendly color. Everything was perfect.
The fabric they use is of top quality, no compromise on that for sure and the work speaks for itself. I like how they paired this floral skirt with red flowers, mustard skirt and brown blouse with golden work. Detailing was so intricate. I would highly recommend you to get your hands on this for your next function.

Hair is one thing that I have never experimented, may be the reason is that I am always afraid of loosing my hair. I have to surely work on different hair styles.

United 21 Grand invited my for a day to their resort. It was a nice experience, rooms were too big and swimming pool was on 6th floor.

This was my personal favorite piece from their collection. Hope you like it!!

Ways to wear Trench Coat

Not sure whether it is nice fitting or versatility, but there’s something so effortlessly chic about a trench coat. Not only is it a stylish outerwear piece but it also goes with just about every darn thing in your closet.

Trench coats are suited on all shape and sizes, they are trans season and very versatile. It is a holy grail of a wardrobe staple.

Choosing a light color means that you can wear in summers and sprint and choosing dark colors means you can wear in summers. However I don’t believer in colors according to weather

I always think that trench coat elongates your legs. There are many ways to wear trench coat. Few of them are  to wear it with a denim shirt and cutoff, Pencil pants, tight top and a trench coat. Or the way I wore -Pair it will LBD and pumps.

Hope you like the outfit.
